Welcome to the Hunterdon Breast Surgery Center

I was referred to Dr. Gleason when I had a suspicious mammogram. Her office scheduled me immediately and I'm so happy I met her. She provided me with the best care possible. After a second opinion with a "star" surgeon in NYC--which her office scheduled for me-- I knew that I would get even better care with Dr. Gleason. Each patient has a team of professionals to walk with her each step of the way and communication was wonderful. Dr. Gleason takes time with me to answer all of my questions and concerns.

My mom recently had surgery performed by Dr. Montes – a brilliant and compassionate surgeon. All of the nurses and staff at the Hunterdon Breast Surgery Center are excellent in every way. Cancer can be very scary and care on every level is important. We were assigned a contact person who was always available to talk and advise us. Jess, along with Dr. Montes, walked us through the steps and never made us feel like a “number.” Dr. Montes provides positive reassurance to her patients and communicates openly and clearly. She is up-to-date on all breast cancer related technologies, studies and options to present them all to you. We didn’t doubt or question her, even though we had a lot of questions! She said to my mom, “I will take good care of you.” And she did. We were lucky to have a positive outcome in addition to a positive experience. I would recommend this group to anyone who is faced with breast cancer. Right here, right in Hunterdon.

My immediate thoughts after my first visit with Dr. Gleason were professional, compassionate, thorough, and kind. Her staff is friendly and assist with coordinating appointments and care. Dr. Gleason explained all aspects of the disease, surgical procedure, and secondary treatments. She makes herself available to you and gives you all the time you need. I would seek her out for treatment wherever she elected to practice.

Dr. Montes is caring, knowledgeable and a kind doctor. She understands so well how the patient is feeling and tries to put you at ease. She explains everything clearly and works with you on the end solution. The staff is also very kind and understanding.  The appointments are easy and convenient to schedule.

My first visit with Dr. Gleason went well.  I did not have to wait more than ten minutes and she did not rush my appointment.  She answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Gleason and her team were quite accommodating of my schedule.  When I met with her to review all my test results, she took all the time needed to answer my questions and anticipated questions as well.  I left feeling informed and knew what the treatment plan would be for me. I would recommend Dr. Gleason and the rest of the team to others.

Jennifer Montes, MD is the best doctor I have ever dealt with. Smart, straightforward, caring and she listens. She takes the time to hear you and answer all your questions and concerns.  Surgery went beautifully.

Dr. Gleason is an amazing doctor and person.  She is comforting, a master surgeon, kind, available to her patients and gives valuable time to explain what is in front of you in regard to the procedure, recovery and what to expect in your specific situation.  I adore her and am grateful that she is my doctor. Any patient that walks through her office door or is awaiting surgery is in the best hands.

Dr. Montes is the most caring doctor and absolutely brilliant!  She has an extremely wonderful bedside manner. She cares so deeply for her patients and makes sure that they all receive the best care.  She is also a good listener, something many doctors fail to do. I highly recommend.
