Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center is committed to providing high-quality care to every patient who enters our doors for consultation, education, treatment or follow-up care. Like all excellent cancer centers, Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC) and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). The essential purpose of the CoC and NAPBC is to set standards for quality cancer care and to evaluate a facility’s compliance with these standards. By participating in the survey process every three years, Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center demonstrates in a very public way our commitment to quality care and continuous process improvement.
Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center has earned the CoC’s Outstanding Achievement Award, the highest recognition of cancer program excellence. There are more than 1,500 CoC-accredited cancer programs in the United States. With this recognition, we have proven, using very objective measures, that our goal of providing high-quality care is, in fact, a reality at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center.
