Our commitment to excellence is grounded in research and evidence-based practice. The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) publishes practice guidelines developed through research to improve “the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of cancer care”. Like most excellent cancer centers, our medical team uses these guidelines to direct and manage patient care, making treatment decisions that are based on the latest research available. Our team monitors compliance with these guidelines to verify that we adhere to our commitment to our patients to provide the highest quality, cost-efficient care available. These guidelines help ensure that patients receive high-quality care no matter where they choose to be treated.
The entire cancer center team – physicians, nurses, therapists and support staff – research cutting edge new cancer therapies and treatment, and how to apply those therapies to provide the best care possible to our patients. This commitment to providing the most current treatment options available, combined with our strong research program, gives our patients access to cutting-edge care that once was only available in large cancer centers.
