College Student Shadowing Program at Hunterdon Medical Center is for students who are applying to graduate school and are required to have shadowing hours. The shadowing program is a minimum of 20 hours, but less than 100 hours. Shadowing opportunities are also limited and we try our best to accommodate students when possible. To participate in this program you must be 18 years or older and enrolled in a college program.
If you are a high school student and are thinking about attending medical school or are curious about a healthcare specialty, you may want to inquire about becoming a volunteer at Hunterdon Medical Center. Many students have been placed in their area of interest and gained much experience in what it would be like to work in their field of interest.
Hunterdon Health’s college shadow program is designed to introduce and expose students to a full range of preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic inpatient and outpatient community health services. Please complete an application to see if we can accommodate your request.
Before beginning an application, please review our eligibility requirements.
Hunterdon Health is committed to providing a high standard of community healthcare. Prior to a shadow program, students will need to complete requirements such as:
ID Badge: All students who are job shadowing must obtain an ID badge from the Safety and Security office at Hunterdon Medical Center.
