Bright Tomorrows has been caring for children since 1992. While schools and child care centers closed in response to the COVID-19 lockdown, Bright Tomorrows remained open to care for children of essential personnel and quickly adapted to health recommendations from the Department of Children and Families – Office of Licensing and Hunterdon Medical Center to keep children, staff, parents and visitors as safe as possible. Safety has always been a part of Bright Tomorrows’ efforts to build a foundation of love and learning in all children we serve. We are excited to partner with you as we model wearing masks, social distancing and hand washing as a part of our daily routine to keep everyone safe.
Bright Tomorrows provides…
A developmentally appropriate curriculum
Daily nutritious lunch and snacks
Collaboration with the Flemington-Raritan School District in STEM Learning
Pampers diapers and wipes for infants and toddlers, and potty training for toddlers when appropriate (we will provide diapers until they master this skill)
Special programs
The primary goal of Bright Tomorrows is to build a foundation of love and learning. We do this by focusing first on a child’s emotional development. Once these needs are met, the child can then develop their cognitive, social and physical skills at their natural pace. We do this by taking a positive, proactive approach to all activities. This approach models positive behavior and language and offers safer alternatives to challenges that need redirection. We strive to provide children with opportunities to make choices that keep everyone safe so they can learn to function independently while practicing social skills. Children learn to respect the needs of others, adapt to routines and simple rules, and ultimately, become responsible group members.
Our staff is dedicated to helping children grow and develop to their full potential according to their own special interests, learning styles and personalities. We believe that each child is unique and therefore, we encourage each child to develop at his/her own rate. And, since 2018, Bright Tomorrows has been in partnership with the Flemington-Raritan School District to encourage Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning.
Bright Tomorrow's tuition also provides special programming for children ages 1-5. These programs are evaluated each year for inclusion and range from special movement activities to hands-on interaction with animal babies. These activities are included in the classroom monthly calendar.
