Having grown up in Hunterdon County and attended high school just across the street, Pravin is excited to begin his residency training at Hunterdon Medical Center. The ability to care and advocate for all people, develop longitudinal relationships with patients and their families, and address the physical, emotional, and social dimensions of a person’s health, inspired Pravin to pursue Family Medicine. He looks forward to not only educating patients but partnering with them in taking control of their health. His current interests within medicine include palliative care, health equity, health policy and administration, as well as medical education. Pravin is passionate about making systemic change in the U.S. healthcare system and hopes to act as a bridge between patients and policymakers by serving as a physician leader. Outside of medicine, Pravin enjoys staying active, whether through bodyweight training, running, hiking, biking, or traveling with family and friends to explore new places all over the world. He also loves film, theatre, trivia, cooking, and trying new foods every chance he can.
