Mark developed his passion for family medicine during medical school where he had the opportunity to train at clinics and hospitals in both New Jersey and rural New Mexico. These training opportunities showed him the important role family medicine physicians play in educating patients about preventative measures while also managing acute and chronic conditions. He enjoys how family medicine allows physicians to develop a strong rapport and a long-term connection with their patients. Throughout his medical training, Mark had always envisioned himself as a physician who can treat the whole family, as well as be their first-line of contact when it comes to advocating for their health and well-being. He found all of these qualities to be present in family medicine. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and reading literature.
