Dr. Harsh V. Bhavsar received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center / Drexel University College of Medicine in Darby, Pennsylvania, where he was awarded the Darilyn Moyer Professionalism Award for displaying the highest level of professionalism in clinical practice by the ACP. He found his niche providing acute inpatient care as a hospitalist and was a member of a Pain Committee advocating for safe and effective analgesia practices.
Dr. Bhavsar has authored and co-authored multiple papers and has served as a question writer for USMLE-Rx which provides educational materials for interns and medical students preparing for licensing examinations. He has a passion for medical writing and has written about the impact of income-driven health inequalities in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. In addition, he has taken part in multiple global health initiatives, visiting Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Las Delicias, El Salvador. His professional interests include healthcare management, mindfulness-based stress reduction, preventative care, and increasing health literacy.
