Ben J. Geishauser, DO

After completing his family medicine residency here at Hunterdon Health, Dr. Geishauser worked as a hospitalist before moving to New Hampshire in 2020 and joining the Family Medicine faculty at Dartmouth. During this time, his interest in palliative care continued to grow after seeing a number of patients and situations that would have benefitted from palliative involvement. However, his initial interest in palliative care began after being the primary caregiver of a close family member with metastatic lung cancer and seeing first-hand the benefits of early palliative care in improving patient care and outcomes. In 2022, Dr. Geishauser returned to Hunterdon Health to complete his fellowship training in hospice and palliative care.
