Dr. Beck is originally from Mountain Lakes, NJ. He obtained his BS in Biology at Penn State University and his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Florida, where more importantly, he met his wife Dr. Sara Baig. While Alex was still in medical school, his parents Doug and Irene relocated to New Hope, PA. In a serendipitous twist, his parents actually established care at Phillips-Barber Health Center at that time back in 2014.
While a resident at HMC, Dr. Beck received the Patient Safety Award, as well as the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) 2020 Resident Teacher award upon graduation. He enjoys teaching medical students and residents at Hunterdon Family Medicine at Delaware Valley. Dr. Beck’s special interests include the care of the developmentally disabled, adolescent medicine, and inpatient medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Beck enjoys being out on the Delaware River with his wife, hiking with their dogs, and supporting his favorite hockey team, the New Jersey Devils.
